Training built around your life

DuroPace is an AI running coach that plans your training around your work, your family and the hours you really have. It reads your watch, asks how your body feels, and changes the plan before a niggle becomes an injury. From your first 5k to a marathon or a mountain ultra.

Built around your life

The plan fits your week, not the other way round

Work, family, the school run, a late shift, a weekend away. DuroPace plans the training you can really do, and keeps it going when life gets busy.

Train when you can

Pick the days and times that work: before work, at lunch, after the kids are in bed. Each session is sized to the time you give it.

Busy week? It bends

Tell it in the Sunday check-in and next week shrinks to fit, keeping the one or two sessions that matter most.

Missed a session? Move on

No guilt and no cramming. The rest of the week is rebuilt around what you actually did.

How a week works

A plan that listens, every week

You tell it your goal and when you can train. It does the planning and keeps adjusting, so you spend your time running instead of rewriting spreadsheets.

  1. Sunday

    Two-minute check-in

How did the week go, how is your body, and what's next week like: late shifts, a family weekend away, a busy few days at work. Big buttons, no forms.

  2. Sunday night

    Next week is written

Sessions are built from your race, your recent load, your sleep and any niggles, then sent to your phone and watch.

  3. Every morning

    Today adapts

A poor night or a stormy forecast? The day's session is eased or swapped, and it tells you why.

  4. After each session

    Log in two taps

Your watch fills in the numbers. You say how it felt and whether anything hurt. Or just say it out loud.

What it does

Less admin, more miles

Plans around injuries

Report a niggle in one tap: where it is and how bad. It eases the sessions that load that area, adds the right strength work, and checks in until it settles.

Reads your watch

Sessions arrive from Garmin, Strava or Health Connect without you doing anything. Sleep and resting heart rate shape how hard today should be.

Log by talking

Speak a note after your run and it picks out the effort and anything that hurt.

"Left knee sore on the descents, about a four. Legs heavy but steady."

Checks the weather

It looks at the hours you will be out, not just the day. Storms move your long day; darkness and cold go on your kit list.

Finds your race

Type the race name. It finds the date, distance, climbing, cut-offs, mandatory kit and the course file, then you check it and confirm.

A coach you can ask

"Should I race the half next month?" "My calf is tight, what now?" It answers with your training in front of it.

Built around injuries

Most plans assume you're never sore

Real training has niggles. DuroPace keeps track of them and plans around them, so a sore knee becomes an easier week rather than a lost month.

  • Each issue is logged by place and severity: a niggle, sore, painful, or had to stop.
  • Sessions that load a sore area are eased or swapped. The rest of the week carries on.
  • Strength and mobility work for that area is added, and a simple test each week shows whether it is settling.
  • A clear summary you can show your physio.

A guide, not a diagnosis. AI can be wrong and DuroPace never replaces a doctor, physio or GP. If something hurts more than a niggle, get it seen.

Why DuroPace exists

Built by a runner with a bad knee

I'm Fergus. I'm training for the Montane Summer Spine Race, 268 miles along the Pennine Way, non-stop, and I'm doing it with runner's knee.

Every plan I tried assumed a body that never hurts and a week that never changes. When my knee flared up, the plan didn't. So I built a coach that asks how I am, reads what my watch already knows, and changes the plan when it needs to.

DuroPace is that coach. I use it every day, fitting training around a full-time job, and I'm building it with the first group of testers. You don't need to be running 268 miles: whether it's a parkrun PB, a first marathon or a mountain ultra, it's built for runners with a life outside running.
